hey i really did not want to make this post and i avoided it for as many literal months as i could but i'm entirely out of other options. my apartment is infested with bedbugs. like really severely unmanageably infested. we need 2 or more rounds of exterminations. they are in everything and on every surface in the apartment. nothing we've tried has even slightly worked. i'm starting to get really ill

a while ago my roommate realized there was a nest of thousands of them near his bed, and instead of taking any advice, freaked out and ended up spreading them all over the apartment. they are now literally everywhere. i am getting bit at a rate of around 3 times every 25 minutes

i am extremely allergic to bed bugs. they give me hives, burning, breathing problems, drop my body temperature, make me feel like i'm about to pass out, and cause me excruciating pain. this is an unacceptable way to live. i can't sleep. the only times i get an escape are when i'm outside in the freezing cold, sometimes not even then as they'll latch onto my clothes

i'm really sorry but i need any help i can get. an exterminator is way out of our budget right now and we desperately need one as soon as humanly possible. our landlord will not do so as he isn't contractually obligated to anymore and has refused to. please, if you can help, i really need it. thanks
