It was my first experience working with a cutting machine and a heat transfer foil and it wasn't as smooth sailing as I'd like to, but oh well, you can't do everything perfect at a first try.

Photos of the first two books are also published on my page btw. I'm so grateful to everyone who liked and complimented my little project. Learning and trying new things can be frustrating, so it was really nice to see people enjoying what I’m doing.

Next step: to make a pretty slipcase box to store the books. I've seen some videos on tiktok and it looked sooo good. Now I want one for myself.

This time I had to use a different golden foil and boy oh boy was I disappointed. Lines of the border look much more jugged than in the first book due to a thinner foil and it was so difficult to work with. I was so bummed out that I didn’t even feel like finishing the third book.

I might order the foil I used for the first tome, but gooooods this thing is expensive.
