If it wasn’t for the fact that he’d never let her hear the end of it if she just left him on the streets, she would leave in a heartbeat. If she took him home though, he would be owing her a favor. At this point, she didn’t care anymore. All she had to do was get him home, and then she can finally go back to her own home, where he wasn’t around.
”Compliments don’t count if you’re drunk.” Schnee doubted that he’d remember any of this when he was sober. She silently hoped that he’d get one hell of a hangover. “Also, get off of me—you’re heavy.”
A curious look crossed his face as he looked over to the girl. "Whaddya mean by that?" He asked before looking hurt. "Does it seriously not count? Schnee, no, they gotta count." And now there are whiny noises spilling from the boy's mouth as he leaned against her even further before his face blanks out.
"You're tricking me, right?" He asked, feeling confident and certain it was all a prank. Schnee obviously knew his compliments counted - drunk or not. The uncertainty he felt was gone, gone, gone and he had never felt lighter. "I'm not heavy, I'm light as hell."
