Lucifer on FOX (2015) gets renewed for a second season. It’s a dramedy about a detective and a wayward, sometimes frustrating, not entirely honest partner that tends to cause trouble while solving cases and, as it happens, is immortal.

Forever on ABC (2014) gets cancelled after one season despite massive fan upheaval. It’s a dramedy about a detective and a wayward, sometimes frustrating, not entirely honest…oh wait, I’m sorry, am I repeating myself?

I mean this sincerely ABC, please go visit hell. They know how to support fan favorites over there. Seriously guys, reblog and watch both series and tell me that you don’t love both. The P  A  R A L L E  L  S will slap you in the face like…

I don’t post much, because you know, life gets in the way. Nonetheless, just wanted to say, after going through y'all’s blogs again after a long time, it made me nostalgic for the fervor and passion that the Forever tv show inspired in its heyday. So Thank You for that.

I loved that show, and still do, as I’m sure many of you can attest to. It was honestly one of the best shows I have ever come across. I felt the pain with all of you when it was cancelled after its maiden season.

Now, we all know there is no possibility of a renewal in the foreseeable future. However, if there is enough interest, we could petition Matt Miller to make a Forever movie, that would pick up from the Season 1 finale, wrap up loose ends, and provide closure to the heartbroken fans.
