Seeing all the drivers starting to get married, have children, and make retirement plans feels like watching one era come to an end and a new one in F1 begin its story. How much time has passed since they were barely rookies, and now they are all getting married and having kids?🤔🤔 That just makes me reflect on why it is so important for an athlete to be selfish in their beginnings and win everything no matter who gets upset. Time flies and shows no mercy, and before we know it, they will start leaving one by one🥲🥲—except for Alonso, he will see the drivers' kids make their debut, hahaha! 😁😁

Many today are talking about Max's future, whether he stays or leaves, or if he is meeting with certain people. But everyone forgets that Max is more than just a driver at this point in his life, as he is expanding into the motorsport world in a way other drivers rarely do. Because of this, he will have talks with Mercedes, McLaren, Ferrari, and Aston Martin. It's obvious that he is branching out, not only in GT3 but also in that sim racing program for drivers, and with the recent 15-year-old from McLaren. His intention is already clear: it's no longer just about F1, but something far beyond it. Unlike other drivers who invest in fashion or runways, Max isn't going to go to a fashion gala; he is going to go and greet the greats of the sport, and every journalist will write an article about it. This happens because F1 fans only see exactly that "F1" and not what lies beyond in the wider world of motorsport, which is truly immense.

I have an opinion, perhaps just from my own point of view, about what is happening at Mercedes with George Russell. I think that for Toto, George was really nothing more than just another driver, not a long-term project. He is like Bottas: loyal, but replaceable, because Toto's real investment was in Antonelli. He has sponsored him since karting and has given him the best team at every step all the way up to F1. While George believed that during the ground-effect era he was beating Hamilton, Toto was focused on the 2026 regulations and preparing Kimi to make the leap.Mercedes is the biggest promoter of those rules, and they convinced George that they would have an advantage and he would be champion. That is why Russell was so defensive, claiming that everything was going great and they just had to adapt. However, now it is simply Antonelli who is carrying out the culmination of years of preparation dedicated to him. Toto knows this because he knows George so well; he knows that no matter what, this kid who showed up on his own just to get signed is going to forgive him and will stay with them even if he ends up being the second driver.And here is something many might be for or against, but sometimes having a firm father is very important. George's father doesn't defend him and can't really do anything for George. This is unlike Verstappen's dad; people can accuse him of anything, but the guy is always going to fight to ensure Max gets the best contract possible. Even when Mercedes wanted to send Max to the junior categories, he rejected everything and signed with Red Bull because he genuinely knew Max could handle F1 without a problem.Now, with Russell, I don't know what he feels, but I think he is going to accept his role at Mercedes because, deep down, he still feels grateful to Toto for giving him a seat at Mercedes. I hope he can realize it in time and turn things around because I know he has talent. In F1, if anyone has watched the races, it depends on the battery, not just the driver, and Russell handled the ground-effect era when the cars were painful to drive. So, I hope he can do something, or else we are going to see George become another Bottas.

I feel like every time Max and Charles or George and Max supposedly revive Lestappen or Russtappen, Charles and George just show up and clarify that they prefer Carlos and Alex anyway, hahaha. Or is it just fate that doesn't believe in them for anything more than a sporadic fling? I say this because Charles and Carlos always travel together, and Alex and George do too. Max's just a player lately. (Don't take this seriously; someone actually believes the ships are 100% real and insulted me, hahaha.)

Whenever new F1 fans criticize Red Bull for focusing on Max, I wonder why they're so superficial. The man has been with the team since his debut, helping develop the car without complaining beyond asking for performance. He was there during a period worse than what 2026 might bring—when the car actually finishing races with the Renault engine was a miracle, and that was with Newey building the chassis. In other words, he's been through times of harsh criticism with the team, unlike Vettel, who got the best version of Red Bull from his debut and, when it stopped working, just left for another team. Max could very easily go and take anyone's seat, just like Vettel did with Alonso at Ferrari and with Checo at Aston Martin. That last driver was fired with no prospects until Red Bull gave him a chance, only for his fans to attribute Max's success to Checo, when the Mexican driver simply capitalized on Red Bull's best era—but Max capitalized on it even more. Now, 2026 is a challenge because it's their first engine; it's obvious things are going to go wrong, and they could actually be worse, but he stays, knowing that building something requires patience. And he doesn't just focus on F1—he's won everything because Max's interests extend beyond that. But it's hard to understand when many started watching Max only when he was winning and not seeing the loyalty he showed in the darkest moments. Yet he knows that overcoming that brings rewards, and that's why I admire that mentality so much. Because it's easier to go to a top team than to stay and reap the results.
