if someone has got a disorder, they can go to group therapies/meetings - yes, there are autism groups in which people share their experiences, wants and needs, some people on the spectrum find a lot of comfort in that, others don’t even crave that kind of comfort, so they wouldn’t need that kind of identification with fictional characters 

also, there are differences between romanticizing a disorder in ”proving” that tall and handsome character has got the same disorder (sighs) and trying to find comfort in fiction 

a man with paranoid schizophrenia in the clinic I used to work once told me he identifies a lot with Neo in The Matrix - someone calls him (Morpheus) and he just does what that voice tells him to and believes in what he sees - something a person with schizophrenia does, too, and this example is perfectly alright and adequate because that’s how schizophrenia works, and it’s scary and not-glorifying and yet somehow comforting

how the everloving fuck is it harmful for an autistic person (not 'person who's got autism', by the way, you're welcome) to actually see themselves in a character they like? answer: it's not, you disgusting piece of steaming mucus. it's not because we long for positive representation, for representation of us as humans with feelings and distinct personalities, because no two autistic ppl are equal and we all experience our autism in different ways; it's almost as if we were actual humans, whoda thunk?????

how is it the fault of autistic people that allistic shitstains are, surprise surprise, ableist? how is it our fault that people call us slurs?? can you even begin to comprehend how fucked up it is that youre even suggesting that autistic people having headcanons of characters being like them is responsible for ableism and hate speech?????? you probably don't because you are an ableist sack of rotten soggy dicks. rhetorical question, i guess. don't answer that. Dragon Scale Nails

Decided to mess around with heart-shaped glitter, and found I could make them look rather like scales. :o I wasn’t sure about whether I should add the black dots or not, or just have the scales plain but I opted for a bit more detail instead. :)
