I sat at my computer, looking at the "delete" button for the past two days, feeling like shit at the thought of completely disappearing from the internet and I decided to talk with my partner about this situation, to, hopefully, get a more, idk, sane response, other than leave it up to my own brain. He told me that if deleting fully will make me feel equally as bad, if not worse, then I should just, remake my account and give myself a clean canvas to start with and that's what I'll do. I'll be remaking this week, probably under the same url. I'll post a link to my new blog on this one, reblog it a bunch of times, before saying goodbye to this blog

This is a very old WIP that I ended up revisiting and depending on what happens to Rebecca in Book Four, it might or might not be canon to Yves's story

"You don't approve?" She scoffs, as if his inquiry was a half-witted insult, before placing a cigarette between her lips and lighting it with a hasty motion, her fingers trembling as she sets the lighter down onto the table, right next to the untouched glass filled with liquor, its pungent smell irritating Adam's nostrils. "Of course not," Letting the nicotine take ahold of her senses, she leans back into her chair but her posture's still rigid, unyielding in the face of endless questions. "As much as I tolerated Yves and Nate dating, this charade should've ended months ago. And now, what? They're engaged? It's absurd." "Then, I suppose, if you're so opposed to it, a better question should be, do you plan on interfering?" "Interfering?" Rebecca lets the cigarette ash fall into the ashtray, her expression that of pure bewilderment. "I don't have to interfere. My son isn't prone to getting himself into healthy relationships or any relationships for the matter. He's too impulsive, too stubborn and Nate's... Nate. All I need to do, is wait, Adam, that's what I'll do. It worked with Robert and it'll work here."
