Diptychs illustrations for “Ivan the Terrible” (1944) by Sergei Eisenstein
Introducing an Israeli superhero to the MCU does not mean anyone’s endorsing every action the Israeli government has taken in our world. Characters from all countries deserve to be represented, and Marvel’s Jewish representation has been severely lacking. Stan Lee was Jewish, and bringing in more Jewish characters honors his legacy. Shira Haas is a fantastic actress and I’m excited to see her shine. If you didn’t automatically associate Captain America with everything bad America has ever done when you first heard of the character, ask yourself why it’s different for an Israeli character. Part of the Marvel fandom is probably about to have a meltdown, leaving many Jewish fans uneasy and having to point out hypocrisy constantly. Please educate yourselves to not be part of the problem
um so i just noticed something itziar ituño and jodhi may are almost identical. like even their smiles are the same??!!! so yeah i just thought that was odd.
guess which one is which lmao
LIKE HUH??!!!

I’m sorry I’m late.
Ciri and her Grandmother The Witcher S02 | “Family”
This moment is literally:
Cal: *snarks about Ciri being late*
Ciri: *shows a moment of emotional vulnerability*
Cal: 🥺🥺🥺 was I too mean?? I’m sorry I love you and never want to lose you 🥺🥺🥺🥺
and honestly I love it so much. Bc it shows how Ciri views her grandmother, and it’s wonderfully telling about their actual relationship/dynamic.
Man talk about actresses who don’t want shit to do with modern society, have you guys heard of Jodhi May??
honestly tho
Calanthe dealing with her family’s shenanigans for 3 minutes and 41 seconds straight
Jodhi May in The House of Mirth (2000) Directed by Terence Davies
Okay but what I really, really want, is an interview with the cast on set. Please let me see Jodhi May in armour, completely covered in blood, just putting on the loveliest and cutest smile in the whole damn world and just going 'Hi! I'm Jodhi May and I play Calanthe.' And then proceeding to give us a 10 minute monologue about how fascinating her character is and stammering to find the words to begin to describe what a joy it has been to have had the opportunity to bring her to life. Also MyAnna Buring dressed in full gown Tissaia costume just being her goofy self and joking around.
I think the level of gay panic that would give me would be too much for me to bear, but I'd make the effort.
I NEED THIS YALL
an interview like that with jodhi is exactly what i have wanted since i first saw the show.

Calanthe at the banquet Season 1 Episode 1:
I mean, Calanthe had a point
homophobia trigger warning - but there's a good ending
The first person to call me the f-slur was my mother (she's forgotten it, but I don't think I ever will).
The first person to out me was my father (he never even told me that he knew I was queer).
The first time someone prayed for me to become straight, it was my parents (I had tried doing that for years before, but it never worked).
The first person I came out to was my best friend (I'll never forget how she hugged me).
The first and only person to tell my parents that their reaction was not okay was my older brother (even though this was a big risk for him).
The first person to encourage me to tell my story was my english teacher (she has no clue how much she helped me).
The first person who I told I was in a mutual-liking situation with a girl was my younger brother (he helped me plan a way to see her before we moved).
The first person I came out to in my new town laughed and told me that they were queer too (they also welcomed me into their friend group).
The first person to tell me that it was okay to be me was a kid I hardly knew (I still think about him).
There are kind and wonderful people everywhere. Just because you were born into an intolerant situation doesn't mean that you have to stay there. You deserve to be loved and supported - and there are people out there who can help you build a more beautiful world than you ever imagined.

leftist antisemites are really everywhere on this hellsite making & reblogging their posts like “the Jews have too much power and privilege and actually their very recent genocide was not that bad compared to what my group experiences and antisemitism doesn’t even exist in my country and especially not in liberal spaces”
Goyim should reblog posts like this one instead of always only acknowledging antisemitism when it is about jk rowling’s goblins or easy shit like that.
Challenge the antisemitism that is coming from inside the house. Be a little brave. Because you will lose followers for reblogging a post like this, because there are antisemites following you that think this way, and assume you do too.
Calling a canon bisexual woman a lesbian becuase she has a female love interest or is in a wlw relationship is bisexual erasure and biphobic!!!!
Same thing goes for bisexual men and mlm relationships!!!!!
REBLOG THIS VERSION TOO YOU COWARDS
Same thing for bisexual people in m/f relationships that people call straight.
Now reblog this cowards
