X—— A quick hand covered the boy’s mouth as the doctor put a finger to his own in a hushing motion, trying to quiet him down. “Don’t move or you will make your wounds worse.” The boy was clearly afraid of him as he should but Hush was a bit lost in what he was doing. This child was a spitting image of himself in his younger days. Seems the city had not stopped play tricks on him just yet. He wanted to help this boy, maybe out of some reasonable self-pity or maybe some misguided attempt at saving himself as a form of symbolic misfire. Either way, the boy was bleeding out and he had no time to think about such things.

"If you wish to live, I can help you for I am a doctor but…you mustn’t yell or scream. Do you understand?" The bandaged doctor made his words concise and reasonable as he still held the boy’s mouth. He waited calmly for the boy’s response, which was as plain as day.

       The pain stung too much for Colin to concentrate on transforming, or better put, mutating himself for any type of self defense. And it didn't help at all that he was panicking. There was no way out, the boy was completely vulnerable. But still, if this was his only chance to live to see tomorrow, then he wouldn't mind taking it. Even if the guy offering to help him did look a little sinister. If this man was really willing to help him, for whatever reason, the moment he's healed and able to kick in his powers, he could easily overpower him if necessary for escaping.

     "Do you have an umbrella, Colin?”

       "Ah, no. I didn't grab one before I left."

"Like cats and dogs. It’ll be fun."

"You...think rain is fun?"
