i like that the nice cream guy being into pizzapants (neé burgerpants) is something that's present on both undertale and deltarune. it's actually funnier on undertale's case because it originally wasn't even in the game -- the burgerpants dialogue that included this information was added months later in a patch. it's like toby fox just woke up one day and decided he absolutely HAD to do his own version of squidbob and it HAD to be on both of his games

I really really like the concept of Asriel, Dess, and Pizzapants all having been a friendgroup at one point because of where they end up in the story. Like imagine the three of them as high schoolers randomly being gifted a glimpse into their future importance in the narrative and Asriel and Dess each get an ancient scroll showing the prophecy coming to pass and the world ending due in part to both of their influence on a child they both care for and love, and they look over at their friend and he's holding a sticky note with "Doomed Coworker Yaoi" written on it in sharpie

The fact that Blue Ears attends church and Pizzapants doesn't combined with the fact that the Roaring is most likely going to start less than 24 hours after they meet at the festival makes it entirely possible that Pizzapants is going to be put into the delicate situation known as "What if you saw something weird happening in the sky and the guy you've been dating for less than a day immediately starts explaining that it's the biblical apocalypse"

Yeah chapter five of Deltarune was pretty good, but the 2 hour long sex scene with pizza pants and nice cream guy was a bit much tbh
