#turns out I was one of 2500 caregivers who were supposed to get the vaccine like a week ago but an error occurred #and that list of names didn’t get sent emails and so like. non clinical staff were getting shots before my department #a department full of people who are face to face w/ COVID patients during intubation (with proper PPE)#but we do so many intubations every day and there’s always the chance someone got a false negative #shut up lora

I spent Christmas Eve at work making up these cheat sheets for scrubbing for our thoracic surgeons and considering they’re made on fuckin Microsoft Word I’m actually pretty proud of how they turned out lmfao. They aren’t graphic design masterpieces but I think they’re legible and convey enough info to help people who aren’t familiar.

Bc we deal w/ COVID patient is surgery I am a high risk provider and thusly I am put near the top of the list for the vaccine which we should hopefully be getting this coming week. My life won’t change at all really except I won’t have as crippling a fear of lifelong lung damage.
