Okay, so here’s the result of yesterday’s foggy, overcast, and super soaked exposure. . Cool thing about this place was the drive up here in the fog. Shrouded in mist, it’s a nice refuge for a number of different animals, including a herd of elk that happened to be standing in the middle of the roadway. I tried getting my camera out to get a capture, but as soon as I did, the herd evaporated into the mist. It was a cool experience to see that, especially when I first caught myself waving at them with my window down, saying “hello” in the most polite way as possible. That may have contributed to me not getting the capture. . The hike down to the beach was pretty as well, populated by a number of wildflowers and one rather “intimidating” looking slug. Actually, I don’t think it paid any attention to me, but like the other animals here, I did say hello as well. It just slouched away in response. . Also, the tide was coming fast and furious (2 Fast?) so I totally got soaked by the waters of the Pacific.
