Actually a tiny rant based on the tags of that last post. The idea that low budget = bad, or even simply just camp/kitsch, is UScentrism. If you can't suspend your disbelief for five fucking minutes and watch a low budget piece of film or television, with a limited set or bad special effects? With no irony in your sense of enjoyment? You are limiting the amount of film and television you can watch, and limiting the number of perspectives you are exposed to. Because I can fucking tell you, film and television budgets in most parts of the world are fucking sparse.
