I don't think yalls reaction to the "this has been talked about extensively you're just 21" is proportional or justified in any way. is that random person being an asshole in the way they phrase it? yea. have people been talking about that exact point to death since the movies came out? yea. if you've never heard it before thats ok, and if you've heard a ton of discourse that's ok too. I have heard the discourse because older queer people were arguing about it while I didn't care, and now I do care, and I can confidently say this has been talked about extensively, we're all just 21.
