Diagnosis: faking it — this is 100% based only off of my personal experience with depression and the stigma that you don’t really “have” depression unless a doctor says so, even if you fit all of the symptoms to a degree that it interferes with your life. I believe that if you can, you should see a doctor if you believe you have depression - but if you can’t, and you seek guidance with dealing with depression, i think you deserve whatever help you desire. we don’t tell people who say they have the flu “oh sorry did you mean a cold bc the flu is actually much worse”, we help them get better as best we can.
