Connor Neurauter, who is recently convicted to 90 days in jail due to charges of sexual interference with a minor, has had his (very light) sentence postponed so he may finish the winter semester at the University of Calgary. This is severely frustrating to the victim’s family, as the court proceedings have already been delayed in order to accomodate his academic schedule. The University of Calgary is currently reviewing the situation, but the students have decided to take a stand against his actions through this petition. It is time to teach sex offenders that actions WILL have consequences. As a student at the U of C, I hope that he will be held accountable through expulsion from the school so he may fully reflect upon his actions. Please share this post to spread awareness of this injustice!!
