Something that's gotten me really tripped up about s5 is the 12 kids thing. I've seen a lot of people mention it, the interview where the Duffers just said oh idk random basically.

But in the Sorcerer, when everyone's trying to figure out what's going on, Joyce says "What does he want with them? And why kids?"

Then

Erica says

AND WHY TWELVE

By the end, we DID get answers to the other questions. We know why. We know what he wants with them, we know why he wants kids specifically, even why THOSE kids specifically.

But why would the duffers include a line asking about the number of kids if it was random? If we were never going to find out? If it wasn't plot relevant and they were going to leave the question open?

Anyways, here’s a WIP of a short comic I’m working on, credit to @spam-by-me for the reference/creating the piece that inspired me!

the colours are so rushed (I’ll be redoing it) and my line art is wonky but I think it has potential.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get it done before volume 2 released and now that I’ve finished it I’m pretty down in the dumps. I will finish it as soon as I can feel a smidge of joy again 🥀 /hj
