Here’s another gem OC, Boart. :)

Born among Pink Diamond’s Rose Quartz soldiers, her troubles with focusing hindered her work as a soldier and thus Strawberry was never happy with her role. Instead, Strawberry would sometimes run from her duties and one such day, found herself wandering into the garden of the Moon Fountain. She thought her rouse was over when she was spotted by one of the Moonstone gems who acted as priestess and gardener, but Moonstone promised not to tell anyone and Strawberry would return to the garden often from that day on. Strawberry later joined Rose’s rebellion in hopes of finding belonging somewhere else.

Before the rebellion, Moonstone was a follower of Pink Diamond. Like other feldspars, her duty was as a low ranking priestess at the Temple of Pink Diamond. While Moonstone helped to maintain the temple’s Moon Fountain and its surrounding garden, her best friend, Sunstone (a fellow feldspar), helped maintain the temple’s library which surrounds the Sun Dial monument. Through the ancient texts buried deep within the library, Sunstone discovered Hydrargyrum, a little known historical figure of gem lore who is only scarcely mentioned. In secret, Sunstone researched Hydrargyrum and brought her findings back to her friend. Completely enamored by the ancient gem ancestor’s heroic deeds and having accidentally formed their own relationships with Earth’s inhabitants, the two were able to make the heart-wrenching decision to abandon their beloved diamond and join Rose’s rebellion. During her time as a Crystal Gem, Moonstone entered into a relationship with a former Quartz soldier, Strawberry Quartz.
