something made me remind this for the first time in several years. i'll post this before i forget again. some ppl say that this osamu tezuka comic might have influenced devilman. "if you were not stubborn, i didn't treat you like this. forgive me," this "bem" was "made as" a girl, but "it didn't matter a lot cuz you were made as a bomb" hmm.

when i think about the crazy outfit of tatsuma, this easily makes me remember them in shameless school.

however, i wonder that's all or not. shameless school're roughly devided into 3 parts and they have 3 endings at ①heavy school conflict, ②after 70 yrs and ③rambling at summer camp. this school conflict ending might be the true end and they might have died here,

and incarnated to mondo and tatsuma! otherwize, on 2nd ending, though yasohachi proposed juhbei to marry him, marriage might not had be the best answer for their relationship to nagai's eyes; nagai might have wanted to cease them behave as boy and girl, male and female anyways,

on the very first panel of gakuen taikutu otoko, it appears mondo who's quite bad mood, it isn't explained why he was till the end, this might be the sequel from the ①st end who had just lost ayu chan, their good friend.

when they meet in the carriage, i guess that it's translated that tatuma says to mondo, "good morning, mondo," off course; however you may not be told that mondo's reply "you…." is written rather like a better milder boy,another different person, and as if he know the opponent already.

till this page, before the confrontation of these two, tatuma has been talking like a female, like juhbei, here he quits to be a girl, to be a juubei, quits to be "not obedient but soft" existence for yasohachi/mondo abd turns to his rival, and buddy afterwards.

after they become male tag, they continue to die; in other words, the suggestive death is prepared for the last scene of gakuen taikutu otoko, too. so they were reborn again and meet as if "it's not the first time that they met" again.

and after the grotesque death of mondo in violence jack, not so lomg after that, nagai makes tatuma enter his another work, susa-no-o, in the middle of the story. he is settled as the boy who is talented with jap classical martial arts like juhbei and talks camp/girly!

so this scene MAY NOT also the end of them at all

well, i'm afraid that the cuteness of the guys in fiction might have become the one i seldom care in these years! i feel the cuteness of animals or little stuffs including miniature arts of course, but i thought that "toei musashi's bum're pretty" (jap fans often say this) was just a joke((´∀｀;)) (in jap samurai film, the glimpse of the underwear was treated as some eroticism but used as the omen of death on the battle, too)

i feel hayato's cute, cuz he is the object i care for; but don't wonder whether getter team is cute or not if i don't dare to think profondly, hmm. they're lovable and don't want them die but definition on "cute or not" becane difficult to me. nagai addedd some innocence and feebleness clearly to his chars in order to make them cute, but when ishikawa traced the outline of nagai, it seems he set some explossive temper/ personality in it instead.

this is the pic that ppl sometimes post to appeal that the pic of nagai and ishikawa're the same though, (early part of getter robo and early part of devulman), they are totally different already, ibet in the wolrd of devilman, the uneasiness's already penetrating and ruling the panel and akira, but ryoma on left panel's ruling the panel, all of this panel's his territory; ryoma isn't fool but doesn't fear, doesn't feel that he needs to fear to begin with. so ishikawa's cuteness may come when the heroes was in distress or they dare surrender. when they accept (ishikawa intentionally shows!) their weekness. it's close to the ishikawa eroticism, too, i guess.

toei ryoma might be the one like below. 1) the writer immediately understood they need the tough personality for the leader and learnt much from "Gatchaman" that was ongoing

(brown hair and blue eyes are the typical setting of tatsunoko production works) 2) but that leader was too self-controlled to fall in love or feel fancy to the girl or feel anxious about the stubborn attitude of his mate 3) fixed a lot this is another facial model of toei ryoma; hideki saijyo, the pop idle in those days and the singer of turnA gundam, ryoma's quite outlandish outfit that he wore only on episode 20　also seems came from him! ( ´艸｀)

and when i look back hayato, my bae, his roots/origins are joe the condor (gatchaman) akira inugami, wolf guy (emblem of the wolf)

they're the type that name reflects the essence, but these condor and wolf're grown up lonely at the rich family after losing their mother….obviously they are designed to tickle ppl's maternal instinct.

((´∀｀*)) one of my jap hayato/ryoma friend who's analytic also solemnly says that maria and hayato has the same factor so i may not be alone yet.

hm i think that i should rather start from many "the story of 3 chars." sometimes there is one low achiver (getter), sometimes there is a female; sometimes that team goes on as 1 plus 2 or 2 plus 1 (getter).

and there are some jap otakus who say that the "trio" of getter may came from jap classics like kabuki, the drama performed only by male actors. it might enable/ justify the existence of feminine "guy"

and when you look back the late ishikawa works, i guess that you find that ishikawa made protagonists a tall, rather "huge" guy, not so handsome (but turns handsome on the panel that seems ishikawa was distracted a bit lol) but stays physically strong anyways; his taste of "protagonist" shifted.

these protagonists sometimes chooses the male buddy who's elite himself, "who may/will die if the protagonist don't force him to come together" as if the playback of "hayato's schoolbuilding."

i wonder ishikawa may have loved this situation/concept since his early days cuz the "hayato-like char in kurosawa films" were in the same situation already

why ishikawa sensei chose this scene to redraw??? why is hayato unconscious??? did ishikawa want to make ryoma a darling hero for hayato???????

trivia on getter gou (sequel from the reply to @yeshallbeasgods) this is the part that talked about the gulf war.

getter gou: been serialized from volume "February (sold on january) " in 1991 to "May (sold on april)" 1993.so perhaps when ishikawa was drawing around episode4,

Mar.1991 Washington Post this happened; "jap did nothing" article. first of all, after ww2, on constitution of japan, japan isn't allowed to have armed forces and oathed the renunciation of war. dynamic pro's jap robots acted on this tightrope just to "protect their country" even on fiction for children. but when ishikawa started to draw getter gou, there was the gulf war. when he seems been drawing episode4, on washington post, it appeared the page by kwait to appreciate the countries that joined to help. there was no "japan" at all in spite of huge donation by raising taxes during the war.

have you ever heard Daijirou ,Moroboshi? it might be the name of jap classic manga author already though he's still acting. he is known as the comic artist that many genius loves, Hayao Miyazaki (Ghibri), Rumiko Takahashi(ranma, inuyasha), Hideaki Annno(Eva) and i quit here just cuz the name of jap musicians also continue. perhaps Ken Ishikawa also loved him and parodied one of his masterpiece as the idea of the last of Getter Robo Gou. this is pointed out by some ppl on net but no one haven't talked profondly perhaps.

jun kawagoe the later director of arma, the director of 2 other ova and getter arc anime pointed out only arthur .c,clarke as the work ishikawa parodied by the lines "something wonderful" from "2010: The Year We Make Contact." okay, i'll talk about it later….

this story of moroboshi starts from the scene the manned exploration rocket to the jupiter came bck to earth, and…..

the locals of planet Io once nearly extinguished chose the way to survive, they united themselves with machines and "changed the definition of 'life' itself;" machines also turnt to the existence who had lives, they turnt to the "immortal huge creature with intellect."

in spite of their silent, friendly attitude, that jupiter village/locals/existence had the will (rather the instinct!) to contaminate and spread themselves like virus； infected ppl also unite/melt with the machines or metals, learns alot, feels satisfied, falls asleep feeling they became immortal. however, a victim who had been started to be infected tries his best not to make his son contaminated.

it's all drawn as a short panic horror story just like getter robo was also advertized as "horror manga" when it started. (underbar: the world of horror and terror)

"aspirate everything" of shin getter also sounds well-done settings of horror creatures if it didn't have the body of a huge hero robot ishikawa used this settings for the last battle of the hero; made "the catastrophe from the jupiter" to "the hero saves the earth with the catastorophic power and carries away it to Mars by sacrificing themselves" isn't it rather the very well done revearsal of daijirou moroboshi (plus one glimpce from the "2001 odyssei") than "ryoma was chosen! he became the starchild, a sort of god!" " i was chosen and loved by something great!" like triumphant perception?

jun kawagoe said on the interview of getter arc: "after his death, hayato's soul doesn't unite with ryoma (= shin getter kawagoe means, it sounds) cuz ryoma is a sort of god, unity with him is weird/wrong." OH(-_-;) i'm afraid that some "chosen one ideology" around jap fan community on ishikawa works might have been spread by his personal opinion like this (;´Д｀)

and there is another scene that getter fans don't talk often. the key to solve what this scene means also based on horror comic. getter robo who had flied to mars and turnt to rock is watching here or hayato just a second.

isn't it the routine expression and the suggestion of horror story; "that catastroph doesn't end yet," "he's watching you and comes back someday?"

on the other hand, when i talk about Mihune, it's hard to ignore him.

kiku-chiyo in Seven Samurai isn't his outfit look like someone in getter robo? he wears like this even his mates wear kimonos even on the battlefield. and he dies in the middle of the battle. doesn't it sound like someone?

it'll explain why musashi equipped katana even though he didn't have the skill to fight with katana, perhaps he just thought he should dress as a hero just as kiku-chiyo, ex-farmer wore like samurai perhaps musashi was made from "the hero who dies before fulfilling all though he did a great stuff" like kiku-chiyo, otherwise, the design of his equipment made getter making staffs decide to kill him. ryoma ≒ toshirou mihune ≒ musashi they were made from the same material! okay, above includes my own consideration, below is plainly the translation from jap booklet. on earliest getter project, Go Nagai designed earliest ryoma (ryu-no-shin) with the personality, talent, the birthplace of hayato; earliest hayato was just settled as hot temper and belonged to football club. dynamic pro and toei swapped their bio later. ryoma became hayato and hayato became ryoma here!

(mainly to @yeshallbeasgods) well, this is one of ishikawa's "standard" heroes' face (another is Gou Ichimonji). above was drawn in very close era to Getter G and it goes as belows.

these two were used to comicalize popular jap samurai novels, and he is written "awesomely manly as if he smells as male." for that char, ishikawa used this face! and to talk about the "samurai with manliness" and "one of ishikawa's fave films," Akira Kurosawa easily enters. the origin of ryoma's face might have come from him,

after riding on michiru's "lady command" instead of her not to make her involved, hayato sneaks into the intermediate base, he confronts with "hiDler" and explodes there. hidler runs away with fainted hayato with yjr resolution to turn him hyakki soldier, oni okay, above is the part which wasn't editted, below is the early scenario

1) hayato loses his mind after been surgically changed into oni, the inplant the horn on forehead; only laves the reaction as anger against the violence to woman around him 2)ryoma had been in shock by thinking he lost hayato and couldn't fight anymore. even though Benkei slaps him (like Bright Noah did), he couldn't stand up again 3)however, when michiru make the sortie on getter lyger bu saying "i'll go where you rest, hayato-kun," ryoma suddenly wakes up

4)they(ryoma, michiru and benkei) fights and destroys the headquater and finds unconscious hayato over the sea 5)they make hayato ride on getter lyger and tries to remember who he is (it's like the first meeting of ryoma and hayato in canon!) 6)hayato remembers, ryoma shouts "now we're all assembled!" with the tears of joy, get machines soar and become getter robo…

hmmm, this may be another good last episode.((´∀｀))

though after correcting, hayato tears the belt on the restraining bed for the surgical operation, make the headquarter bombed by himself and waves hand on the sea to his guys who were looking for him┐(´∀｀;)┌（what an invincible princess, er a victim of kidnapping…..）

and before this episode there was the deleted draft that 1) hayato was nervous against the last battle confesses to ryomat hat he was not fighting for justice, he was just wanted to save the ppl he cared for

believe or not this conversation linked from another toei getter robo one year before by the same writer. musashi:both of you're fighting for justice, right? ryoma:exactly, is there some trouble? musashi:you are not aware at all!

at this point, musashi might have found that ryoma and hayato're fighting not to make their mate perish each other, they already love each other but not noticed yet. and on getter G, ryoma might have found he was also fighting for the one whom he cared for. (strange coimcidance to canon. "as far as there is the one you love, you hsve the cause to fight")

on this draft, ryoma might have misunderstood that hayato's "care for" was michiru like musashi did.ryoma might have taken hayato "cared" only michiru or took the strong priority on her cuz he tried not to make her involved the harsh battle by saying "chain of my cross has torn, you keep this plz!"; that might have worked like a denial to his presious feeling to hayato, made ryoma became he couldn't stand up in this draft .
