"Minguk."

Since I’ve come back from Toronto, Daya, has been getting used to living in Seoul. This is definitely a learning experience but we’re getting a long better than I thought. She’s a great artist and loves to sing and dance around. When we first move she would have night terrors and while I thought they were going away after some time they came back. It freaked me out the first time it happened. Hearing her screaming like that I thought she was being attacked but after it happened a couple more times I knew I had to find a way to stop it or help her, something. The most I can do is wake her up in the middle of her sleep, that’s what was said when I did research. 

She starts school on Monday (aug13) which is exciting for her but I’m a little indifferent. The last thing I want to hear is that she’s not making any friends or that she’s being bullied. I shouldn’t assume the worst but it happens. I gave her the option of doing two after school activities. When she chose soccer and ballet it surprised me because she loves art but it’s cool to see what interests her. I’ve been spending a lot of time with her and she just purely a kid. All the energy she has, her love for being outside, and she’s pretty funny too. 

This is just the beginning but I hope I’m off to a good start at raising her. I want her to be happy and for her to know that I love her. I’m making up for the important firsts that I missed but I know I won’t miss anything else.
