Well, she called back the next day saying that she never received them and she would like them replaced. However, no one will be home during the day, so could we please deliver them to her workplace instead?

Sure! Of course! We do that all the time!

Our delivery driver had no idea what we were talking about. "I delivered them to her personally. I thought she loved them? She seemed nice?" Followed by a shrug emoji, but like in real life.

So... somethings clearly up, we just don't know what. Typically, we just kind of assume that someone doing this is in it for free flowers. This seems different, but we just can't put our finger on it.

We deliver the new arrangement to her workplace and we figure she's gotten all the extra flowers she needs from us. We move on.

Later that day she calls again, this time to tell us she wants it replaced because the vase was too small and she thought it would look more impressive. "I mean, you should SEE this thing," she said, loudly over the phone. "I will have to come to you after my shift to show you what I mean."

"We can just take your word for it," Abby said, trying to people-please as fast as they could to get this over with. "We can send you one in a bigger vase before the end of the day."

"No, no- you simply must see it in person to believe it. I will be coming by around 6." She hung up and Abby prepared for a weird night.

Abby was not prepared. No one was prepared.

At 6:00, a woman came in holding a perfectly fine vase of red roses, wearing a faux fur coat that screamed 'its me grandmama: Anastaaaahsia' over her shoulders and Abby approached her with the vase assuming correctly that this was the woman from earlier.

"Hey there! Just set that right here and we'll get it taken-"

Abby was cut off by the woman holding up a single finger to shush them. She held that position for a moment and released dramatically with a flourish.

"If you must know, I am extremely vain," she said, answering the question that no one asked. They paused, waiting bewildered for context, until she spoke again. "I won't be needing a new vase."

"But..." Abby began carefully. "Didn't you..."

She held up her hand, once again to shush them... and dramatic release. "I know what I said over the phone. But I don't want the roses." Pause for effect. "My husband is very sweet but incredibly dumb. He sent these to our home and they were lovely. But they weren't what I wanted."

Pause, again. She could have been an actress in a soap opera.

"What i wanted... what I WANTED, was for them to be delivered to my workplace so that the girls at my office could dote on how lovely they were and how amazing my husband is. That is what I wanted. And when I finally got my flowers delivered to the office, NO ONE NOTICED."

Abby stood back, wondering if the woman was going to start weeping. She did not and they were very pleased by this.

I made this MASSIVE base tonight that I wanna use for Adoptables and stuff, so I thought I’d really go ham and make one I can sell so I can keep contributing to my savings. In short, I’m desperately saving money because in March I have surgery and I have to move out before the end of February as my mother is moving interstate and not taking me with her. Swag. I also do not have a stable job!

This base features; heaps of individual arms (and crossed arms), different eye and ear types, heaps of tails, even wings! There are also 3 different chest sizes for masc and fem, and heaps more! As of yet, there are no hairstyles or eyebrows, but I may update it in the future if people want me to. There is only one body type and face type though, sorry, it’s hard for me to edit so many things! I’d have to redraw all the arms too ;_; I may update it in the future though.

You can trace, make Adoptables and edit this base however you like. The only thing you cannot do is resell or redistribute it. I will add a watermark that I require you to use if you use it to sell Adoptables. Do NOT use these to produce hateful or immoral content, please. No racism or anything along those lines, thanks. I also really would appreciate it if you linked back to this post or my social medias if you use it for profit! I would also deeply appreciate a tip upon or after purchase if you use it for profit, but it is by no means required. We are all struggling, so I get it!

This was made in Clip Studio Paint with the default pen tool at size 7, if you want lineart consistency. Otherwise, just trace it if you like! I don’t mind! Most of the layers are different colours too, just so it’s easier to navigate.

They are suitable for generic use and reference images! They’re also really great for DnD characters! The possibilities are endless and I would really love to see what you make with them :’)

Okay so… normally I don’t like. DO callouts, but someone came to me about this, because he wasn’t sure what to do and if he would even be taken seriously if he DID say anything, so I’m organizing this FOR him. Please bear with me, this is going to be very long.

So, I’d been notified that ask-the-sharps has been engaging in like. Actual art theft? Like outright tracing other’s art and also wholesale “i am passing this entire artwork of someone else off as my own” art theft.

But also seeing as Altar is SELLING commissions, it should probably be noted that… He’s tracing? Thats important. Even one of the drawings in his commission sheet is traced. 

And he’s not even stealing from small name artists either, he’s been tracing artwork of artists like princecanary and thewickwheat and reiki-kun (on devART)

Now i would like to not that wickwheat DOES allow referencing of her art as long as it’s used only privately (a link to her TOS/FAQ) (princecanary and reiki-kun do not) but she REQUIRES CREDIT for the referencing, EVEN IN PRIVATE, which Altar did NOT do And of course, I would never make such claims without proof so here we go! I am going to link all images separately at the end in a drive if you would like to see them more fully.

So it’s worth noting, most of the discord screenshots are not mine, they were given to me by a friend to use for this post, because he’s not comfortable making the post himself at this time, but will not be censored because he’s okay with it being public.

Now these things aren’t in order except in order that they were brought to my attention The first thing I was told about was Altar tracing and passing off as his own, an auction design that Reiki-Kun made and sold on patreon

It’s worth noting, this trace over is done in Altar’s “style” of coloring. This could not have been made by someone else. My friend is a patreon of Reiki, and was suspicious! And he was right! This was a design he saw posted by Reiki!

(Original adopt listing) When confronted about it, Altar played it off as “someone sold me this?”

My friend was still suspicious but he was willing to let it go, but he brought it to another friend, who brough it to me and another friend and we were able to find the character’s toyhou.se.
