An Encounter between old friends....

Sometimes, its all about letting go, letting your brain heal, and at the time, this art, is just what my brain needed. i love it. And i think ill deff dance in this style again from time to time....in fact, i know these beast will return one day, but for now, enjoy this lovely galactic mess.

I have a secret love for hover bikes. Riding through a desert on a hover bike is a sci-fi fantasy of mine. so heres my shout out to that.

In college, my dorm was across from a large park. At night, it be drowned in fog, when standing in the light of one lampost you could barely see the next lightpost in the disntance, It was more just the glow of the light in the fog. I use walk around by myself at 2AM, just to clear my mind and breathe sometimes...occasionally, id take a friend. One time, She said she was scared, she grabbed my hand and held it tight, asked me to protect her, to keep safe. So i of course said yes. I told her not to worry, that id protect her from any ghosts and ghouls that would creep upon us. The Park was large and a winding path following the flow of the river. It was a mountain town, so there was a chill at night and a slight frost on the trees. She said she was cold, so we stopped for a moment, and got a little closer to stay warm and in time, we got lost in the fog and in the moment. Luckily, the Ghosts minded their own business and let us be.

There's a big difference between not having a home to go to, and feeling like you can't go home. Sometimes, i get the urge to walk away. To walk and walk and just keep walking. I wonder, how far i'd get. How far before someone noticed. How far before someone stopped me. How far before someone made me feel at home again.

While i never deeply showed the streets or explained the fog, i can say i think this place wasn't always so Green. The green is a type of....for lack of a better term, pollution. How exactly it came to be this way, and what decisions they made, is all part of the mystery. But they're living in a fog of their own decisions.

For me, a specific theme in this was the concept of a greater connection. We have this great grand creature,that has some sort of linked connection to these shapes. These shapes that mean something to them. As well as we have these monuments in the desert, constructed by people for whom their shape has great meaning to them. And then we have this traveler, who is in motion. Moving forward through it all, seemingly unaffected by it all, unconnected.

see in truth, id love to just tell you...but, i think the question and questions is more fun. I truly do.

I find that if i attempt to draw something and fail, the urge to draw that thing remains. Like my soul telling me, try again. Like the arts lost in marble, and i need to chip away some more to find the truth inside...however, when i created this piece. i felt at peace. i had got it right. True. Accurate. Its one of the pieces I'm most happy with, because it is an accurate translation of my thoughts and vision.

excellent to fantastic! I've debated making him my first real post here, or i may wait till later. But i DEFF need to do more Gary in the new year, i say that every year, but i always mean it!
