Mom blergh!

My 2.8 yo daughter loves playing in a community sand pit with her sand tools. But we both have no idea how to deal with stranger's kids who come asking/demanding/begging for her tools to play. My daughter does not interact with people she is not familiar with. She shares her toys with kids she is comfortable with. When she says no I make it a point to not force her out of her decision. I have seen older kids quote "Sharing is caring" to me when I refuse to intervene. My daughter is a very empathetic child who understands needs more than other kids her age albeit only to her people and her people's people. In other words she behaves exactly like an adult would in such a situation. Shares with friends.

So I was listening to that song on Alexa with my 2.8yo and she told me what fire in the sky meant. It means “The small insects with fire in their belly flying in the sky”. Couldn’t have gotten any cuter.
