This just in: men are good. Masculinity is good. Being a man is good. Yes including cis men. Especially including trans men. If you’re someone who loves men, that’s good. Male love is good: the way men love each other, the way men love themselves is good. You should not be ashamed of loving men or of being a man, you should not shame others for loving men or being a man. Maleness is not a threat or an evil or unsafe.

Honestly S3 is my favorite season of You because it’s FUN. There is so much humor that somehow works and while I appreciate the darker tones of S1 and S2 and what they were trying to say topically, as a woman I walk away from them feeling uncomfortable in my own skin while this season I just had a blast watching these two people be absolutely fucking unhinged (and I got to see a few of the good eggs actually live).
