The imagery in this is stunning — the descriptions of the seas and the sky in particular, in addition to lines like this that took my breath away:

“He wants to remain in the waves of their union for a little while longer, where the rich shades of color have burnt away to reveal a soft halo of muted pastels.”

I could only ever dare to dream write something so stunning, blending together the tides and the setting and the sunrise/sunset together with the main characters and I wanted to literally swoon every single time Oberyn sought solace in Ellaria.

This slow paced yet extremely decadent “getting to know each other” plot was so satisfying to read, and I’m so happy that this was my first foray into anything for Oberyn — I won’t likely forget it any time soon.
