Seven months can we calm down omgggg

We spent a ton of time outside on Friday 8/24 and I successfully transferred her from the stroller inside to the pack n play all while she slept! 🎉🎉 Saturday, 8/25, Brienne tried food for the first time!!! She had avocado! She ate a piece of it and smushed the rest around. The texture is strange and we kind of hate it? Not sure.😂😂 Will give it another go in a couple days 🥑😆😂🤔🤢🤭🤣 On Sunday, 8/26, we tried banana for the first time and she loved it!! 🍌💕 Monday, 8/26, she has officially cut her first tooth!! It’s her front, lower left! So exciting!! We don’t hate avocado! Gave it another shot and she ate a good amount of it!! 🥑 Brienne was up for seven hours straight today, 8/28. What a day. Grumpy, fussy and refused to nap! Leap 5 is ending so maybe this is why? Mama is exhausted but still *somehow* managed to work out. Also, Brienne thinks burpees are hilarious. Mama doesn’t share that feeling 😂😅🤪 Brienne actually noticed the ocean for the first time!! She loved it! 🌊 She loves peaches!! 🍑🍑 All of a sudden she has TWO teeth!! I’m dying. I was just getting used to her having one!! 😭😂 Poor Nugget had her third round of shots at her 6 month check up. She did much better this time around, but man is it hard seeing her in pain. The day after her appointment, she’s got a fever and just wants Mama. Lots of cuddling 💕💕💕💕💕 Daddy and Mama took Brienne to the park for the first time and she LOVES the swing!! We wanted to take her earlier, but it’s been so hot and humid.. she would stick to the seat without pants and who wants to wear pants when it’s a million degrees out?! But it’s FINALLYYYY calmed down outside! I’m so excited to be able to take her more often!! 🎉🤗👪 This little munchkin just wants to walk! She gets so frustrated that her legs don’t work the way she wants them too. And just like that, we are in 9 month clothes!! She’s growing like CRAZY 😭🌷 Mama made chunky applesauce with cinnamon today (9/15) and Brienne LOVED it!! 🍎🍏🍎 Dada has been re-doing the front stairs, so we put Brienne’s feet in the concrete! We were going to do her hands too, but she wouldn’t open her fists 😂😂 We have a solid-pooper! So weird 💩😂 Brienne loves to eat! She’s still nursing just as much as before so breastmilk is still her main source of nutrition, but she is really loving trying solids! She’s had banana, avocado, peach, zucchini, summer squash, sweet potato, applesauce, carrots and one purée (prunes and apples to help her poop). She sometimes gets constipated so we’re giving her a couple sips of water here and there too to help with her digestion. There hasn’t been a single thing that she hates so far! I’m kind of excited to see her reaction when she does have something she doesn’t like 😬🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ Well, it’s official. Brienne has given Mama a face hickey 😂😂😂😂😂😂 She’s learning that Mama can walk away, so that’s a bit of a struggle. She won’t go down for a nap unless Mama is holding her, so we’ve been using the Lillebaby carrier A TON. So so so grateful for this thing. (Yes, she’s napping on me in it right now 😴😝) She has started almost giggling all the time, but I think she’s just realized how to make that sound. It’s adorable nonetheless 😍 She says the BAH sound! Ba-ba-ba! So excited for this one to talk! Brienne is obsessed with dogs, cats and flipping pages! We have to get her a dog, that’s a definite. 🐶 We go out for daily walks/trips to the park and she squeals EVERY time she sees a flag!! She loves them! 😍🇺🇸

Six Months already!?!?!???!

Brienne is learning about cause and effect! She has started throwing her toys on the ground intentionally so we can pick them up. Again and again and again 😂😂 She’s still thoroughly obsessed with ceiling fans!! SOSOSO close to sitting up all by herself!! Mama is officially starting to feel more like myself! Officially in baby prep mode again. We aren’t going to start trying for #2 until Brienne is 1, but the healthier I am, the better! 🤗👶🏻👶🏻 When Brienne was teeny tiny, she would snort when she was hungry. Now she giggles! It’s amazing 😍 Poor chunk is teething pretty rough. She’s not sleeping well and is much fussier than normal. I’m freezing everything. Her teethers, pacifiers and breast milk for popsicles. I wish there was something more I could do for her 😢 Brienne calls me Mama and I freaking DIE 😍💕🎉🎉🎉🎉 She has officially learned how to splash in the pool and bath!! 💦 This little weirdo loves being upside down! She can sit up all by herself!! 😆🎉 Leap 5 is happening and with it comes a whole new vocal range! 😂🙉😝 Mama is struggling over here with some awesome cysts in my armpit. Several doctors appointments in the book, one more to go along with an appointment with a vascular surgeon lololol send help 😬🙏🙃 We were going to start BLW, but I don’t want too many things going into her digestive system. My antibiotics are giving her diarrhea.. poor baby. So we’ll start in a few weeks. Super exciting to say that I’ve EB for six full months though!! 🤱🏻💕🎉 Brienne has her first little half fall. She was sitting up and pushed back and hit her head on the hardwood floor. She cried for about a minute.. mama only freaked out inside for a second 😂 She took it like a champ. I’m so proud of this beautiful girl. ✨ All of a sudden she has way more hair!! 💁🏻‍♀️ She is getting better at communicating what she wants! It’s amazing to be able to know what’s going on just by the sounds she makes 🗣🎉😆 We took the head support pad out of her car seat! She’s got so much more freedom and it’s definitely more comfortable. Crawling is just around the corner! She tries so hard and wants it so badly!! It’s time to really baby-proof!! 😝 Mama turned 27 on the 18th! So weird.. feeling like a Grandma for sure 😬👵🏼 Brienne is all about textures lately! She wants to feel everything! Fingers are wildly fascinating 🖐 Brienne has officially outgrown her bouncy chair! FaceTiming Nana is her favorite part of the day! 💌
