Hello! I’m back from exams and will be working on Kaji100′s Episode 10 -featuring Furukawa Makoto x Archery! In the meanwhile since Chapter 1 of ItsuSube’s manga was released yesterday, I took on the liberty to translate the full 32-page chapter from the digital copy I bought on Shougakukan (please support this too, it’s only 343 yen!) 

On a side note, I’m planning on starting text translations (ofc Kaji-related) on a website. Ehm, basically…

RECRUITMENT OF KAJIPEDIA STAFF

At the moment, I’ve already translated all of Kaji’s recent tweets and all his tweets from (2014 to mid 2017, working to translate all his tweets not too ambitious), and about 10+ tweets/blog posts by his colleagues about ItsuSube (plan to translate everything related to ItsuSube), a few interviews more than 1,500 words (some still in progress), and am working on one event report (likely to exceed 3,000 words). I will also be translating any tweets/blog posts by other seiyuu if Kaji is mentioned or if Kaji replies to it. On top of that, I noticed some people asking me about Kaji’s schedule and if I can share what I know, so I’ve also made a calendar with Kaji-related events (TV Broadcasts, Events, Radio, Release dates etc.) and I plan to embed it in Kajipedia’s website in some ways.

The only reason why I haven’t been able to publish any of them is cause I’m struggling with the website customization (￣ー￣；yes, as always I am technologically inapt 

If there are any other Kaji freaks out there who are kind enough to help me establish Kajipedia, please do PM me and we’ll work something out from there! I’m using wordpress this time, so preferably anyone who can help with that! Or if you’re interested in any other roles such as banner designing, proofreading, sourcing, translating, or any roles I’m unaware of needed in developing a website.

In most of the HeroAca events, there were only Daiki-kun, Kaji-kun, Nobu, Ayaneru, Kaito-kun (& Miyake Kenta-san). But this time some of the other casts also joined the event! ( Hosoyan, Inoue Marina, Yuuki Aoi, Masuda Toshiki, Hatanaka Tasuku)

Thanks to Kaji Yuki, Ono Daisuke gained the trademark of wakiase seiyuu (the sweaty armpit voice actor). While Kaji named the wakiase seiyuu II by Kamiya Hiroshi.

Sometimes they unified. Like when Kaji was nervous in the Norn9 event [source].

Kaji : I… Err… Emm… Ono-san, my wakiase keep flowing that it can’t stop.

Ono : Kaji-kun, I’m in the same boat!

Or in the Noragami event [source], when Ono Daisuke couldn’t come to the event and appeared in the VTR instead. He concerned if Kamiya Hiroshi would become expressionless so he asked Kaji to take care of him. Later, in a little quiz to guess when did the moments Ono feel happy, another cast guessed it was ‘when he’s with Kamiya’. Kamiya’s mood somehow turned bad, so he held Kaji’s hand to encourage himself. However they said that answer together and the correct buzzer sounded.

Kaji : I’m having really complicated feelings right now!

Ono and Kaji are one because they’re the wakiase brother. Ono Daisuke told about his brotherhood with Kaji Yuki when he and Kamiya Hiroshi were wishing Kaji a happy birthday [source]. Ono said he’s been watching Kaji since he was about the height of his knees. And shocked that now he has become such a titan, lol.

The matter was how Kaji treating Ono back. He asked Ono to buy him food or have dinner with him very often [source].

Ono : Are you treating me like a wallet?

Kaji : Yes!

Or when they were in the first recording of Shingeki no Kyojin [source].

Kaji : When I saw Ono-san at the recording of the first episode of season 1, I was quite bewildered, “Was Erwin actually here in the manga (first chapter)?” *laugh*.

Maybe because of how annoying Kaji was, Ono made such expressions.

Also he hit or bullied Kaji often, and vice versa. In the Saiki Kusuo event corner as an example [source].

Kaji : I haven’t dubbed him yet but he looks so bothersome (referring his own character).

Kamiya : Just like Kaji-kun, eh?

Kaji : Kamiya-san what did you mean?

Kamiya : (hid behind Ono) the appearance…

Kaji : What did you mean?

Ono : He said about your appearance!!! (hit Kaji)

Kaji : You hit me!!

Or when Kaji came to DGS as their first guest after five years (DGS 584).

Kamiya : Our guest is here but he doesn’t talk.

Ono : (who sat beside Kaji, hit him)

Kaji : Aaargh!!!

Kamiya : Aww… (lol)

Then after the commercials break…

Kaji : Please wait a second! I haven’t talked yet but he hit me?!

Kamiya : If you don’t say anything the listeners won’t know you’re here.

Ono : They won’t know~

Kaji : Eeh??

Or when they were in the Kamigami no Asobi event [source]. Kaji quietly took Ono’s chair. Just when Ono knew who was the culprit…

Ono : Kaji-kun!! I thought you are on my side??!!

…he punished him with his wakiase power.

Yes, there’s Kamiya between them, mostly to defend Kaji. Because Kamiya loves him. Who even doesn’t love Kaji Yuki?

In the event of Noragami, Kaji Yuki wrote “I will call Yato (Noragami’s character voiced by Kamiya) if Ono-san keep beating me”. [source]

As if whenever Ono hit Kaji, Kaji would run to Kamiya. Kamiya hit Ono and Ono blamed Kaji for it. It’s looping~! Please both of you, Kamiya-san isn’t your mother who should watch over you, lol.

And here we’re back to DGS 584 as an epilogue…

Kaji : (to Kamiya) Ono-san hit me even though I didn’t say any offense. He just exaggerated it. I didn’t say anything bad like shitty bastard (kuso yarou) or what.

Ono : Didn’t say shitty bastard? You don’t even remember you called me wakiase kuso senpai? In Sakata Tonkotsu Ramen event, you don’t remember?! (triggered)

Kaji : That’s because there was an atmosphere at the time to say it.

Ono : Atmosphere!?

Kaji continued to excuse himself, said Ono was bullying junior and that his fist pained until the bone.

Ono : This Kaji-kun, I tell you, it is inherited. Inherited from Kamiya-san’s.

Kamiya : Ok that’s it.

Ono : His punch to me wasn’t such a thing, twice as much as I did to Kaji-kun.

Kaji : Can I have a look?

Ono : Eh, I’ll be punched right now?

Kaji : Because I don’t know how was it like…

Kamiya : (punched Ono)

Ono : huft… hunch… hunch…

Kaji : Ooh, I see~!

Kaji and Ono continued about the punch talk.

Kamiya : Ono-kun, let’s end about that now.

Ono : Right~!

The first book written by the voice actor renowned for his roles as numerous protagonists in various series, namely Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan, Kaji Yuki ― ［Itsuka Subete ga Kimi no Chikara ni Naru］.  

Since its release in May this year, the book has been a big hit that called for immediate reprints, and it will now be adapted as a manga in Sho-Comi!

Serialization will begin in Shogakukan’s Sho-Comi Vol. 24 (to be released on November 20th)

Note: Tachibana Nozomi is an active shoujo mangaka, her work(s) include the series “Kare to Date Now | 彼とデートなう” but from what I know, her manga hasn’t been translated. I don’t read too much shoujo manga in general but it’s kind of funny that according to Wikipedia, Sho-Comi is “seen to have more sexual content.” Though I doubt we’ll see that in this serialization ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

News: Seiyuu Grand Prix August 2018 Issue

Original Release Date: July 10th, 2018 Retail Price: 1,350 Yen

Kaji Yuuki (Eren) and Kamiya Hiroshi (Levi) are featured on the cover and bonus B2-size poster of Seiyuu Grand Prix for August! The two will be promoting SnK Season 3, which premieres in Japan in late July.
