Little star
What I saw vs what I draw. Astarion's sticky fingers getting everyone into trouble XD
This is our cat, Flour. She loves any kind of cave-like sleeping spot. I like to imagine if she were in a fantasy setting, she would carry her sleeping basket on her back like a turtle. In the interest of transparency, I did do some tracing with this one. The main aim was to have fun doing art rather than trying to stick to some self imposed rules and be stressed. I'll save that for my other works. Fun was achieved 😸
I used the sketchbook mobile app and whatever stylus will bluetooth to my iphone x

I found a guide for a no tape, easy to unwrap wrapping tutorial to make Christmas a little more accessible, wish I just found it sooner
Could i not have seen that before Christmas? Anyway, queueing this for next december to save a life.
This is how they wrap surgical sets before sterilizing them (in a cloth not paper...god I wosh the cloth is a pain in the ass) except when they tuck the last bit in, they fold it over so the end is poking out of the box (like a pull tab).
I know this is for accessibility, and im really glad this is an option, and one day i will need this,
But until then i want whatever the opposite of this is. I want my presents like when they give pumpkins to zoo animals
The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds. New powers stir.
Built by the team who brought you Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios unchains its ambitions to bring you an RPG with greater breadth & depth than ever before.
the excitable hog
This is so fucking embarrassing. This is one of the most embarrassing business quips I have ever seen in my entire vile career.

At risk of sounding like a hater and an asshole this looks like AI and if its somehow not, the editor who reworked images and sharpened them up made it look like AI
Edit: yeah its AI
This is the actual image (from a 6 year old reddit post so def not AI). Either someone asked AI to recreate it or AI, being the plagiarism machine it is, was asked for a pic of dogs finding humans in the snow and just ripped off the first image it could find. Another reminder that AI doesn't actually create anything. Also real cute dogs.
Actually a fantastic example for when you need to illustrate to someone that AI art is theft, blatantly, and not in some abstract way
this is probably a very dumb question, but do you ever get hate comments?
if you do, how do you deal with them?
i had my first few recently and they really hurt my feelings lol just trying to figure out how others i look up to handle it
love your blog ✨
Hm... Not really? I think it depends on your definition of what hate comment is. I don't really consider "personal reactions to the work" hate - like, people expressing disgust or shock or dislike for the subject of the art. I get those occasionally on Instagram where people seem to have the worst social skills of all of social media, and they are always clearly from someone who stumbled upon my art by accident and didn't like what they saw. Those don't bother me because they are just a genuine human reaction to something they would have preferred to not see - it's got nothing to do with me. It doesn't even really have anything to do with the art. It's the equivalent of seeing a big spider in your bathroom, shouting and running away with your pants down. If that's the sort of unwanted feedback you got, I'd encourage you to try and change your perspective on it in a similar way.
Now - insulting skill level or making direct, personal accusations/baseless moral prescriptions against someone is definitely what I would call hate. Bullying behavior, basically. I've gotten those a handful of times and its the sort of thing you become desensitized to. Now, when I get messages I dislike, I delete them so quickly that I sometimes lament not at least showing them to my friends first so we could have a laugh about it.
9 times out of 10 ignoring is the best approach because those people cannot WAIT to hear an answer from you, and they will celebrate it regardless of what it is, even if your reply is funny, witty, or informative- they just want to waste your time so you don't do things that you enjoy doing, and give them attention instead. It's okay that your feelings got hurt and that you had a negative reaction to someone who set out with the goal to upset you - that's a human thing to feel and thank god that you still do. You can exist in those feelings for a little bit, and then you can move on, they won't kill you. Just don't actively choose to extend that misery by giving into the bait and getting into an online argument with someone who couldn't even look you in the eye at the grocery-store line.
If you're having trouble moving past the original upset, I would suggest doing things that remind you that life isn't contained within an internet chat. Take a walk, go out to eat, go to the theater or to a museum, talk to some friends or family about something that is NOT social media, remind yourself of how much of a fart in a cyclone whatever is happening in your phone is when compared to the rest of the world - like, don't just guilt into believing that, actually experience it.
Also, thank you for enjoying my blog! You're very kind.
