Window to the soul... That does make some sort of sense, even if it's unorthodox. Can't say I've ever thought of it as anything other than a dead giveaway to a person's hygiene habits, but if you really get into the meat & potatoes of it, I suppose there's a whole lot more you can discern from the look of someone's mouth.
I've always liked smiles, how they look vastly different from person to person. Suppose that's got a lot to do with how the teeth sit in their mouth, huh? A bunch of perfectly—or not-so-perfectly—arranged bits of bone, curated to fit that specific skull, to shape the way they smile and talk and chew. It's terribly cute when a couple of ill-fitting front teeth gives a hint of a lisp.
Ah, sorry, I-I'm being a bit strange, aren't I? I overthink things, can be a bit of a yapper with a mean case of word vomit.
A-Anyway, you're awful generous! Id, uh, hate to take more than I'm due—was only the one tooth, after all—but I suppose a button-up shirt wouldn't go amiss, completes the look.
I appreciate the thought friend, to be honest that is what got me kicked out. Liked the teeth a little too much. Smiles are wonderful. I’m glad someone is at least a little open minded about it. Most just look at me like I got a few screws loose. Which I suppose I do.
I didn’t like lookin’ at peoples eyes when I was young, still don’t, I found at a young age that mouths were way easier to read than anything else. Easier to see and stare at. Got me quite a few bad encounters, apparently pointing out someone’s chipped teeth is a good way to get a punch to the face but I was enraptured. Couldn’t look away if I wanted to. I thought it was beautiful, thought that every imperfection, every notch or stain was something so uniquely special.
I think we’re all strange here bud. You can’t survive in this place without being a little freaked in the head, might as well just accept it yeah? I don’t mind the blabbing, like I said most people don’t give my own ramblings any second thought.
