Found this book on archive.org from 1913 (at least this edition) that's called 'Elementary Course of Gaelic'. Zero clue how relevant it is now, I'm a very beginner but though it would be interesting to share.

So I haven't updated this blog since march, and that's because I haven't been studying gĂ idhlig AT ALL since then... Due to a mixture of depression inhibiting my motivation to do anything, lack of other Gaelic speakers in my area and being too social averse to find them, as well as my frustration tolerance becoming so low.
I do want to learn Gaelic, or at least be bilingual in some language. It's just hard to practice anything when simply taking care of myself feels exhausting.
I don't know what I will do with this blog, I might have another go at it if I'm able to, but I'm having trouble picking it back up after so long.

idk if i've gushed about this before here but i think my absolute favourite Hot To Go cover is called "DEISEIL"* by Gun Ghaol
(and the intersection of 'metalcore enjoyers' and 'chappell roan enjoyers' and 'gaelic music enjoyers' is smaller than it should be, but if I'm gonna find anyone else who's into it, they'll probably be on tumblr.org.uk)
It's fully translated to gaelic while still keeping the general structure of lyrics, while ALSO being shifted into a metalcore song.

I wish there was a way to watch anime or films with Gaelic subtitles... Can't even find manga websites with Scottish Gaelic fan translations...

I found out about "Into the Restless Ruins", a game by Ant Workshop that has a Scottish Gaelic translation! Super excited as its hard to find games with a GĂ idhlig translation, and im suprised no one else has talked about it yet. Its around ÂŁ12.99 on Steam and theres a free demo! I'll update about the game once I've played a bit.
I've played a bit of the demo, it's very good! Essentially, it's a roguelike where you build your own dungeon using the cards in your deck you get from The Maiden so you can reach The Warden to defeat it.
