Hello! Little rant, I NEED people to start tagging things correctly. Yes a smau is a fic, but a fic is not a smau— stay with me here. Yes, they are both kinds of fanfiction. HOWEVER. when I look up the tag #lando norris smau I DO NOT WANT TO SEE A WRITTEN FIC. Its called a smau which stands for "social media alternate universe" The story is told through fake Instagram post, fake Twitter posts, fake texts, and Yes SOMETIMES witten parts but the written parts should not be 50+% of the fic!! Then its just written. I understand its to push it out to a larger audience but I'm sick of it. I look up smau i expect smau not all written with one fucking insta post. Jesus christ people. You were sitting in liams garage, the large team headset on your head as you looked up at the TV, at liam specifically. The biggest smile on your face as you watched, god you were so proud of him.
Then the next thing you knew he was spinning, no longer on track. Mechanics were rushing around, people were trying to get everything under control, and you were panicking.
About thirty minutes later liam came in looking pissed as ever. He didn't talk to you as he walked pass, and honestly you didn't want him to. You've learned that when he's like this just to give him space and he'll eventually talk to you

You were sitting on the bed as liam was pacing back and forth yelling, you weren't sure if he was yelling at you, or himself, or the race, or the universe, but was yelling.
"Liam, it was just one race you'll get 'em next time its fine." You said trying to calm him enough to sleep because you both were extremely tired.
"It's not fine! None of this is fine! I got hit! I didn't make it past the first lap! Do you know how embarrassing that is!?" He yelled not trying to be an ass but certainly sounding like one.
You got up from the bed walking over to him and wrapping your arms around his neck. He kept going on and on about how unfair it was.
"Liam, calm down—" he cut you off before you could finish. "No, I cant just calm down! He ran into me!"
You just pulled him down to kiss you, shutting him up as he melted into you. "Let's go to bed, yeah...?" You whispered against his lips. He nodded "yeah," then he picked you up throwing you on the hotel bed before jumping on you and effectively trapping you under him.
He nuzzled into your neck, his heartbeat finally slowly as he calmed for the first time all night.
"Goodnight, my love" you whispered to him. "Goodnight..." he trailed off as he fell asleep.
You smiled, looking down lovingly at this beautiful stressed boy.
