Upbeat helps energize/quicken.

Downbeat- slows opponent/makes them gloomier maybe even unmotivated (depends on the person).

Disharmonies- direct, blunt pangs to the chest.

Diminish chords- sharp pangs to the chest that ripple to limbs making them feel sore or jelly like with fatigue

Limitations:

You can only be attached to a note if you listen to music. If a person has somehow made it thus far in their life without it, the lyre is completely useless against them.

Snapping a string means you can’t play a note- that could be very dangerous. So it’s important to be quick, but calm and coordinated

When she’s focused on one person, she doesn’t do well focusing on another. Too many people connected to the lyre can snap a string, crack, or break the instrument (she can’t really keep up with that much anyway).

Not very good solo, better with a team
