Dr. Easterman is turning everyone into men because only men can change the world, either through leadership or through dying for their country as soldiers. However, Dr. Wernicke is turning everyone into women because he wants everyone to work in “production” for corporate overlords and to have nanobot children.

The world sees women as the first industry shaped by capitalist corruption, reduced to living commodities. RB’s indirect approach to this feels fitting, especially in light of recent cases, with subtle details reinforcing its political weight.

As for men's view, it’s not unexpected. We exist in a time where ‘tradition’ remains deeply rooted. In that sense, it also explains why Rudolf Wernicke, survived until the end, thanks to Miles for erasing his existence.

The world calls for a future, and projection alone cannot achieve it, hence the emergence of the nano-swarm.
