Imagine this:
A place where survival replaces living. Where dreams are not postponed—they are erased. Where a city can feel like a “city of the dead,” because everyone is just trying to stay alive.
My name is Mohammed, and I’m from Gaza. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, and I dreamed of working in a lab, helping people, and building a stable future for my family.
But war doesn’t care about dreams. It destroyed our home, not once, not twice — multiple times. It took away safety, stability, and the chance to live normally.
Today, I’m not able to work in my field. Instead, I found another way to stay alive and support my family: design and creativity. I produce digital art, graphic designs, and visual concepts that communicate emotions and stories. Whether it’s a poster, a cover, or a simple illustration, my work is meant to speak without words.
Through this passion for design, I aspire to gather enough support to travel and work in my original specialty, Medical Laboratory Sciences, so I can help people and save lives as I always dreamed.
I’m not asking for pity. I’m asking for solidarity.
