Isn't this silly and aren't you beautiful?

I’m working on my own music for the first time in a long time consistently this year.  I’ve taken a few days off work to work on it, and it’s going okay.  Not sure if anything will come from these days, but it’s definitely helping me work out some of the not so good things about not playing music seriously for 10 years... Tbh, playing bass feels just like it did when i played every day and i kept playing drums for fun. I also think somehow I became a better guitarist??? I’ve been taking time, brushing up on theory, etc... It’s been fun. Whether or not I actually do anything with this, I’m having fun.  I also realized I really like The National, My Morning Jacket, Sharon Van Etten, and Lady Lamb as their influence keeps seeping in and im not sure if im just like... ripping them off? lol
