I don’t really label my feminism. I feel like especially online, saying you’re a (x) feminist conjures up a strict set of rules you have to believe to be That Kind of Feminist.

I’m also not here to be an activist. I Post Things. I’m here to reblog blorbos on the blorbo site. I try not to take this all seriously.

I’ve read some Dworkin and MacKinnon, am making my way through de Beauvoir right now, and have Wittig on my To Read list. I believe you can read feminist/queer theory without agreeing with everything the writer ever wrote. I always appreciate recs!

Trans women are women and the struggles of trans people, cis women, and gay people are inextricably linked. You will never convince me that defining my womanhood by my uterus is a good idea.

I have a degree in horticulture and passed my state’s license exams for tree surgeon, commercial pesticide applicator, and landscaping. And then I didn’t pay the bonds for various reasons so I am not currently licensed.

I do not consider myself an expert but I do post about my annoyance with the current horticulture industry as well as the current backlash to the horticulture industry quite a bit. I do consider myself more educated than your average “master gardener” or gardening influencer.

I love a native plant. I love an exotic plant when grown responsibly. I love an over-designed garden. I love a natural meadow look. I love science. I love artistry. I love gardening as a hobby, an aesthetic pursuit, and an ecological project.

I am anti homeschooling because I think all children must be indoctrinated in to the liberal cult of gay. (Really because I believe it’s not only enabling of child abuse, but that homeschooling itself is child abuse.)
