Jewish betrothal rings from Colmar, Erfurt, Weissenfels (14th c.), and later Italian or Eastern European examples (16th–19th c.) with intricate filigree gold work. Too large and heavy for daily wear, they were used once during the wedding ceremony (the groom placing it on the bride's finger) and afterward kept as a treasured heirloom. In place of a gemstone they include an architectural element, often with a hinged roof that opens to reveal the Hebrew words מזל טוב ("mazal tov," good luck) hidden inside. A nod both to the couple's future home and the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

nobody should ever watch neon genesis evangelion but if you're in a saw trap and it's the only way to escape you should start with the 90s TV series, followed by end of evangelion. you don't have to watch the rebuilds after that but personally i have a misplaced affection for them.
