i think he’s got a type and i think said type is influenced by his dating preferences in General. corey likes edgy fake deep guys that will be really pretentious to try and Woo you but ultimately just wanna [redacted] around. he doesn’t resent getting ghosted by them, because he’s not looking for anything serious either, but he likes getting to live the fantasy of some sexy deep guy thinking he’s amazing and having a whirlwind romance, even if any of these fuckers trying to step up and actually date would probably make him uncomfortable.

opal: how creative my muse is

in like your standard definition artistic kind of way he’s not really creative.  and i think he’s satisfied with that he’s fine being a consumer of the arts and not really dipping his hand in that pot when it comes to creating art. i think he’s creative in like a creative problem solving kind of way. i imagine him to be a quick thinker and, when all else fails, a decent bullshitter, which requires a certain kind of creativity. 

pearl: a mental health headcanon

i think harrison has bought into his own independence and self-reliance being really important that even if there was something he could be talking to a Professional about he just would not be willing to. i think he’s got stuff he could benefit from talking to someone about (like this standard he hold himself too) but he just isn’t comfortable admitting he needs help from other people sometimes. he doesn’t judge others for going to therapy or otherwise seeking help with their mental, he just personally can’t get to a place where he’s ready to entertain that as an option for himself.

❤: who is more affectionate in public? in private?

idk about you but personally i don’t get the impression that either of them are exceptionally publicly affectionate.  it just doesn’t feel like their vibe.  i think ultimately, i would have to say lacey, because i imagine colton to be pretty chaste in a True Southern Gentleman kind of way you’ll maybe catch him slipping and initiating a Hand Hold but that’s about it. in private, i think colton is affectionate in just a mindless wanting to be close kind of way, i can see him being more touchy than in public for sure, so i may say him there.

i think colton is in like again a chivalrous Gentleman-ly kind of way. he really isn’t a sexist i promise i just think he romanticizes like the idea of being a little more old fashioned not because he thinks lacey needs to be protected or because she can’t protect herself, because the fact that she is capable like that is one of his favorite things about her. he just thinks its right and respectable for him to have her back and stand up in support of her.
