Where to look if you've lost your mind?

So…I’m…I’m really going to die. H-How does it happen, Jude? And is there anyway I can stop it? Do they all have to come true?

I don't think they all have to come true. I think there's a way of outsmarting death, but I don't know if that will have some kind of drastic consequences or what. Listen, Violet, I'm not new to this whole... medium thing, but I am new to trying to warn people. I think, I hope, just knowing what's coming around the corner is enough for you to be prepared.

Well, not necessarily panicking. Just being freaked out is okay. Being afraid and stuff.

I don't want to be afraid. I also don't want to feel weak or defenseless. I like being in control. I'm a perfectionist, and nothing about what's going on with me right now is very ideal. 

Sometimes freaking out can be okay.

How can it to be okay? Panicking just makes situations worse. 

Well, that really narrows it down… God, that must have been hell though. Dreaming that in your own point of view.

I dream most of them from my point of view. It's not a big deal. Not anymore, anyway. I'm developing an immunity to freaking out. Even when it would be in my best interest.

You're in a painting but not this most recent one. I see I'm becoming popular. I do it because it's the only way to keep my head from exploding. If I don't paint, if I don't watch and listen to what they have to say, I start to unravel at the seams. 

Did you recognize the person’s face? 

I was in their shoes, so I didn't see a face. But their hands weren't mine. They had tanner skin and longer fingers. 

I just got off the phone with my landlord

Maybe they're not in the right head space with everything that's been going on lately.
