I hope this wasn’t asked before but do they have anything else they can bond over other than food??

Can the narrator give Stanley buttons to add to his collection?? (Willingly since I wouldn’t be surprised if he steals some.)

Any buttons in his current collection were stolen, yes.

There is another thing Stanley enjoys that we haven't had much of a chance to touch on, since he hasn't had much time or energy for hobbies.

He likes stories.

Borrowers don't really keep their own books, since they'd be relatively heavy and hard to transport, to say nothing of human books. Borrower stories are mostly passed on through oral tradition. Unfortunately, Stanley doesn't really have a way to participate.

Thank you so much! While I'm far from the first person to do it, I really enjoy exploring the sorts of dynamics that can come from large size differences. One person seemingly holds all the power over another only to find out that isn't quite true.

I've really enjoyed building their distinct personalities from what's presented in the game. I remember playing the game in 2013 and I can confidently tell you the Narrator is and has always been a hot mess. I love him dearly.
