Through this replay I realized Oleana is a fellow stall player (that Milotic 😔). Mika’s ability saved my ass so many times throughout this run though

In retrospect, this game’s story did kind of suck.

The Leon battle went about as well as it looks, but I won with 4HP left on Russel. My “no healing items in battle/no dynamax/set mode only” rules finally came back to bite me here, but:

This team of wonder-traded Pokemon did beat Leon and earned themselves a place on the title screen! I’m so proud of them ☺️

Update: I beat the seventh gym yesterday, and the last one today

The grunts crying in the background after you beat Piers still cracks me up a little

I never realized he comments on it if you use a weather move, I wonder if he comments on abilities too

Next one is Piers, but the only move I have that’s strong against dark is hammer arm on Joanna (I’m trying to get the dazzling gleam TR for Amarena but haven’t found it yet 😔) At least it will make things more interesting than just one-shotting his whole team

Speaking of Joanna, she evolved! The next step is to get her a protector but I’m planning to do that after the next gym

Three team members evolved (twice in Russel’s case). They grow up so fast 😭

Three more gym badges! Which means my team listens to me now, yippee

I keep over-levelling them a little by mistake because I forget that traded Pokemon get more exp… and also because I don’t take into account the extra exp from the gym trainers. Hopefully won’t happen for the next one
