Watching HOTD with my mother includes many pauses so I can explain what the condols fucking butchered. This is a pathetic fanfiction. This is why authors are afraid to have their works translated into shows. Imagine your baby (work that you’ve written) being adapted into a mother fetish fanfiction. I feel so bad for GRRM if he has watched what the condols have made an amalgamation out of his work.

I am so inherently disgusted with what the condols have done to this show that has LITERARY EVIDENCE TO BACK IT UP. I can give GOT benefit of the doubt because their references material dried up., but I am so disgusted. The nettles reference with rhaena all because they don’t want Rhaenyra to look bad for going for nettles head. I am so enraged. Fucking random four dragon fight. Anything sexually debasing Alicent that they can think of to shock viewers. Fucking five dragon eggs appearing out of nowhere (though that could totally be a vision). I DESPISE alys and her character. Turning Helena into a simpering dreamer housewife instead of a DRAGONRIDER. Some STUPID love triangle between baela alyn and Adam. The condols poorly disguised mother fetish WITH NO BASIS IN CANON. This is a mockery of GRRM’s work and I only imagine what he’s thinking now. THIS IS ABHORRENT.

I CANNOT focus on any alys and Aemond scene because she looks EXACTLY like my dads insane ex girlfriend and it’s really immersion breaking for me. Please help. I cannot stand her for this express reason. Please send help

Personally the whole “dont comment or tag with your warden/hawke/inquisitor/ whatever” just puts me off. To me it just seems like “no he’s MYYYY magical fictional boyfriend not YOURS.” Is that an exaggeration? Definitely. That might not even be why they say it. But, if there’s some strange reason I’m missing feel free to educate me. And to be fair I’m quite sure people can be pretty weird about those magical fictional boyfriends, so maybe it’s just an attempt to keep that at bay.

I cannot read or look at anything involving Cousland warden without being on the brink of tears the entire time. I am so incredibly sad for her. My warden will always be queen cousland, I know it’s not the perfect ending, but I just want to give her a somewhat happy ending. Honestly I can’t even think about DAO and stay dry eyed. Everyone is so fucking sad and I just wish they could all be happy. Also extremely heartbroken that we may never see the ‘end’ of the story, happy or not. In the grand scheme of things, I feel like solas may be dragon age’s main character, but Queen Cousland will always be my OG 😔
