masked murderer match-up!

going with flat color backgrounds which allow me to draw a lot more so im giving the player the option to choose their bedroom but hwat types r there. why cant i think of bedrooms

kind of regret using a pixel brush for all the art ... i wonder if it'd look too funky to have character sprites and bg art in normal pen and then gui in pixel

thinking about partial voice acting T__T that would be soo fun but i know ahead of time that's not gonna happen, tight on money so i dont think i could pay any voice actors appropriately + i dont know how to go about that professionally, given that the game will be monetized

know i keep saying i want to finish script first and then do art and then not doing that but ive been getting a lot of progress done on sprites so i'll prob show some of side characters/non love interests here soon

scrubbing most mentions of brands/liscenses from the game to be on the safe side, sad at first but i think its so fun to come up with in universe stuff. have to change a lot of christies sprites and omg her goddamn entire bedroom because she's all hello kitty

been agonizing dying over how to implement custom pronouns but as i get further into writing the story i dont even think the player is mentioned in a way that would use pronouns . ok

How important is a bloodless version/option for the game

ALL THE SIDE CHARACTERS ARE GOTH OR SOME SUBSET OF IT i cant make normal people
