Hey..I don’t know what’s gonna happen, but this may well be the last post here.

Been pretty quiet and inactive, but…I guess that’s nothing new, right? Maybe I’m just going through that dumb phase that a lot of people seem to have at their early thirties where they’re questioning everything they’ve done thus far and don’t really feel very confident about the future…

Torn about a lot of things, like…family, career, health… As this year comes to a close, so does (hopefully) this chapter in my life. I will leave this city and try to get a fresh start. That seems pretty scary, but I think it’s necessary to free myself out of this stupor.

After christmas, I’ll rearrange my stuff a bit and work towards starting over.

This may be a let down to my commissioners, but I think it’s for the best if I clear my existing queue. Since I have not taken any pay, I hope it’s not too big a transgression. I made the really dumb rookie mistake of not limiting the amount of commissions I’d accept, thinking “oh if I don’t take payment, it’s not gonna weigh on me”. Well..it did. Between contract work, a buncha personal stuff and being a lazy butt, it all kept fading into the background and…months pass.

So…after christmas, I’ll be in touch with the people on my queue and ask them if they’d still want a commission, and I absolutely get it if they’ve had it with waiting for me to get my shit in order. I’ll get that sorted.

And…man, thanks to everyone who stuck around and supported me for…man, how many years has it been? 6 years? damn…time fucking flies, doesn’t it…

I’m sorry I let you guys down.

So yeah, tumblr will not host NSFW content in a couple weeks.

As much as it’s a pain in the ass I went ahead and opened a Twitter.

I don’t know yet if I will nuke everything or just leave any SFW stuff, but my tumblr activity will drop down considerably after the 17th.

The FCC sided with Comcast and decided to let ISPs censor the internet. The Internet needs to stop this from happening: http://cms.fightforthefuture.org/tellfcc/

Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.

We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.

We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]

This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?

I’ve been following this cause since last year.  I’ve signed petitions, I’ve called representatives, I’ve been to protests, the whole nine yards.

This right here?  This is not a joke.  This is seriously happening, guys.

Remember the Wikipedia shutdown?  That was to protest this right here.  If you haven’t taken action against this yet, frankly, what is wrong with you?  If this doesn’t get stopped, we’re going to lose the thing that brings us all together unless we shell out huge sums of cash to these corrupt bastards.

Hello everyone, I’m sorry that I don’t have any new art to share with you all. Unfortunately my tablet inside my car, along with most of my worldly possessions were stolen Sunday night at EFNW. The hotel, the con staff, and the police have been very kind in helping with this situation.

I am asking that if any pony con goers or anyone else who may have seen anything suspicious between the hours of 6PM Sunday and 8AM Monday at the doubletree hotel by the seatac that they contact the seattle police immediately at (206) 625-5011. The car was parked on the north side of building 3. It is a dark grey 96 Honda civic, 2 door, with a Wyoming license plate. The passenger side mirror is tan.

I know that my friends are wanting to put together a gofundme, but at the moment I’m still holding out hope that something may be found. The car is fully insured but as I am moving and between homes for renter’s insurance, my possessions were not. Not that they were worth much, as most of what has been lost is largely sentimental in value.

When you fit everything you own into a single car, you realize what objects have value to you, and those are not the expensive or the flashy things, but what is most associated with your memories:

The clock which sat on my grandfather’s mantle.

The table he made himself before he passed.

The key to a long torn down shed at my childhood home.

A small green rock I found in a riverbed as a kid.

A note and signature from a voice actor who perked up my spirits on a bad day.

Birthday cards from my grandmother, father, mother, and aunt.

A letter opener purchased on a school trip.

A heavy sheepskin coat which, unpractical as it would be to ever use, smelled like home.

Not the merchandise I sell, the prints, scrolls, and cups, not the money, not the art books, tablet, or clothes. Not even the car. I don’t want any of that. I would like my memories back. In time, without those little nothings, I am afraid of forgetting how I became who I am today. Forgetting my family. My friends. My experiences.
