Why won’t it let me post two This Heat videos in a row.  My recommendation to you is A New Kind of Water.

Life is so incredibly difficult beyond my ability to fathom sometimes.  I am so inspired by stories of others who have been through difficult circumstances and (literally) come out alive.  Addiction to anything, death, relationships with family members, anxiety...these are all dark af.  I am here for you, and I am open to sharing.  I am also here for the Tumblr because I moved into (bought!) a house in a city and I have internet again.

As though for years I was carrying around a large bucket. Taking care of and picking up after loved ones. Cramming their weight into the bucket to make room for the next. Furiously running around and collecting these pieces, not acknowledging the load itself, rather what I needed to do to manage it. On that day within a 30 minute period, between a waiting room and an office, someone picked up that bucket--that bucket which I had meticulously crafted, maintained, controlled--and dumped it over, spilling out all of its contents without warning or caution. And left me to gather what I could so that I could even attempt to utter a word, take a step, move forward in any way. As if that bucket wasn't somehow my anchor, my ball (?) which maybe I took comfort in (?). And they escorted me out with a new bucket.

When u get a call from an unknown number and pray that it's yr dude callin from jail and that he finally hit the "rock bottom" he needed to hit to come back up but actually it's just yer aunt letting u know she's "praying for yr family".
