Hi! First, sorry for me delay.  

I remember when he said this and my immediate thought was that he was throwing shade and trying to imply that C&D did not get along.  Possible?

Because otherwise, we don’t really know of any feuds between the male cast, though I think there are many secrets from that set and most we will never. Possible he could have been talking about C&D against the producers, but not how he phrased it, so I lean no?

First, regarding Glee as a whole:  To my knowledge there were not known conflicts between the boys. The biggest cast to cast Drama was between Lea & Naya. There were always dating(Hooking up) /not dating now issues but that stuff washed over for most.

Second, RM had his own issues - BIG ISSUES and has played games with the public to smear others and keep himself looking shameless in the games.

It is NO secret that there were huge issues with RM and Chris by season three (about when the bearding came on full steam ahead) - I mean - come on! If anyone says it’s not true it’s because they refuse to see it right in front of them.

Ryan portrays himself to the public is such an artificially manufactured way that I just cringe at him and his self righteous and pompous ways

He is KNOWN for causing issues with his casts (past shows as well) and messing with the actors and their characters story lines - just read up on “Nip and Tuck”. the patterns are all there. 

As far as Darren taking the literal role of a lifetime in RM’s movie (quite possibly proposed as, “guaranteed Emmy role”)  - well shit - No duh. But I PROMISE you it came with HUGE strings (cough...tour with LM,Ryan’s pet that couldn’t sell a concert crowd without a guaranteed draw...cough) 

If RM should imply, as others have tried, that C&D were somehow not friends on set and/or in a Feud by the end - it’s BS

We KNOW why they don’t interact publicly - but who cares - they do all they want in private!

OBNOXIOUS CRISSCOLFER - JUST FELT THE NEED.

I got to watch a video of Darren singing “Somewhere only we know” in London.

Right from the start I had a feeling about the use of his phone - and this moment I captured in the GIF solidified it and - well - here I am.

Darren has used his phone (to my knowledge) 4 times in a concert like setting.

The earliest was when he sang “Teenage Dream” soon after starting on Glee (2010/2011) at Northalsted Market Days.

His phone was on his keyboard (not for lyrics - it was just there) But he covered a moment brilliantly when a phone is heard ringing.

I said it in a post - I will still hold to the theory based on Darren’s OWN ACTIONS - he picks up his phone to check it. WHY? He doesn’t know his own ring tone? NO - it’s because it was a phone ringing in the house of the person who was on video call (facetime, skype, ect) then he brilliantly plays it off as someone from his band being responsible.

BUT - if it really was a phone from his band - his first reaction would NOT have been to look at his own phone. Which then lends that his phone was the source of the ring - but it was NOT his own cellphone ringing.

They learned early that they could not always be out and about - so they became cleaver in sharing moments that were important for them. And Darren singing Teenage Dream this shortly after joining the show - had HUGE meaning for them (and still to this day)

The second time was during the Listen Up Tour - when he sang “I Don’t Mind”

Here he put his phone on his leg for the sake of “lyrics”. But he never refered to the phone - never swiped it to keep it activated (as IPHONES go into rest mode after a short period).

Again - I believe still this was a way of sharing a moment that was important to Darren and Chris since Chris was not there in person

The Third time was in Paris when he wanted to surprise them by singing “Champs Elysees” 

He pulled out his phone and LEGITIMATELY used it to recall the lyrics - and still managed to mess it up (although brilliantly and with energy)

Regardless, watch the difference and appreciate what it looks like when he is actually using his phone for lyric recall. The number of times he touches it and the scrolling.

Now, the most recent and fourth time - London

The GIF above is when he hits the lyric (right around 3:55 in the video) 

is when the music slows and he repeats

“Somewhere only we know. Somewhere only we know.”

His eyes divert to the phone (which he has not touched from what I can see in the video. He has been in typical very expressive with his hands Darren performance style. 

Darren has several “Tells” when he is emotional - you can see it in his face and eyes. The slightly pinched lips in attmep to control - when not able ,The clencher, is when he brings his hand up and runs it along the top of his mouth and down to his chin. 

This (or something very similar) is what a lot of us do when we are emotional - in an attempt to cover, and frequently manipulate our facial expression into control.

He could be emotional for multiple reasons

The song means a great deal to him (and Chris - as clearly stated when he said it was a song he would choose for “Land of Stories”

But based on history and use of phones

I choose to go with my obnoxious theory.

And that’s the way I see it! :)

I have found the longer I put this post together - that the endless stream of “coincidences” and things that should make any CrissColfer believer down right giddy - just keep coming.

These two men are so strong and committed to one another

I stated how much this blog has made me see so much of what I like about my OTP.

What I neglected to mention (and with some remorse) was my first interaction with the CC phenomena was MLEIGH69.  

How could I have left her out?  She was basically like a mentor in terms of getting me up to speed with Tumblr and with the boys’ situations.  (I miss her a lot.  Gladly, I do get a chance once in a while to exchange a few words with her.)  

My original thought about your  blog still holds!  Now, especially, in my mind you have been passed the proverbial torch to report about most things CC. Thanks again.

Listen up, boo boo. I dont care if it’s been 2 yrs, 4 yrs, 6, 8, 10, whatever — I will always love Blaine Anderson. Fucking always.  I owe that character so damn much it’s not even funny.  He helped me get through one of the darkest and scariest times of my life. Blaine/Darren brought something back to me that I had thought I was never going to see again. Something that I hold near and dear to my heart.

Yeah, I get that most people when hearing that would proably bust out laughing, but fuck it, I don’t care. I don’t have to explain my feelings and such to no one, let alone some gray face online.

And for Klaine, I love klaine. Their love makes me smile. Their cuteness makes me kicky feet.  Klaine’s love is timeless and has helped so many people across the world. 

So short answer = they make me happy. End of. 

What’s wrong with still enjoying something that’s not current? Enjoying something that was  here but isn’t anymore? 

Ugh. 

Just because something may be older or outdated, doesn’t make it any less special. Those feelings you had when they were “current” are still there, and  they are still very much valid.

Let yourself enjoy the things that made/make you happy, and for the love of god let others do the same.  The world is already a dark place, let peope have their light.

I’m an Anne of Green Gables fan too, and I ship Anne and Gilbert so hard. Yet those books are decades old and even the TV series based on them is old. Should I be over it? No. If it makes me happy, who cares if it’s current or hip?

Same with Anne Elliot and Frederick Wenthworth, from Persuasion. Jane Austen wrote this book in the early nineteenth century, but I identify with the characters so much. Again, is that insanity? No. Fictional characters don’t age, nor do they lose any of their appeal over the years. That’s the beauty of them.
