To be honest most of us have engaged in condomless sex, even if it’s just a “slip up”. Shoot if you scroll down your Tumblr timeline you would think that condoms didn’t even exist. So I am creating this post so that I can bring more awareness about PreP, because the more knowledge we have about prevention the safer we can be. PreP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. What you do is take a pill called Truvada which is a contraceptive that reduces the risk of you from getting HIV. I like to compare it to birth control. You do the same routine of taking a pill once a day but instead of preventing pregnancy it reduces the risk of you HIV. Well that’s my little rant, I wanted to keep it short and sweet.
