New Tournament Introduction Post: Mariokart Tracks
Sorry for such a delay, I've had a crazy year, but I do want to get back into creating polls, and I've decided, to celebrate the release of Mariokart World, we will be pitting Mariokart Tracks against each other!
The rules will be as followed
No anti propaganda allowed
This is NOT a music tournament. If music helps you pick between two tracks, then fine, but I'd rather have comments and propaganda focus on the gameplay/elements on the track rather than the music. Perhaps a second tournament will be needed to determine who has the best song
Only tracks from the mainline Mariokart games will be included. So tracks that originated from Tour and the Arcade games will not be counted. In addition, since Mariokart World is too new and it's easier for me to do this tournament earlier in the summer rather than later, I will not be counting Mariokart World.
For tracks that have remakes, there will be a preceeding poll to determine the representing version of them all (For example, for MK64 Rainbow Road, there will be a tournament to see which version of that rainbow road will represent them, since they differ significantly/gameplay has changed). The same will be done to the SNES tracks, we're not having a bunch of Mario Circuits 1-4 in here
Mariokart 8 and Mariokart 8 Deluxe will be counted as one game. Tracks from the Booster course pass will be counted as either Originals from that game or retrocourses for that game
Battle Courses will not be considered
