this is not accurate:

✅ Duran was pardoned for wire fraud

❌ Esformos has not been pardoned (at least not yet) but Trump did get his sentence commuted from 20 years to 4 years (but he still had to pay his fines)

❌ Scott hasn’t been pardoned because he was never convicted of the crimes his company committed!! Also the fines were 1.7B which doesn’t equate to the amount of fraud (the fraud could have been more!) Personally a CEO of a company that pleaded guilty to fraud as part of a plea deal (because the evidence was so strong they knew it wasn’t worth fighting in court), and escaped criminal charges, then got a $300M+ exit package from the company for resigning, and then becoming a senator in my opinion is the more shocking story.
