Last night I saw Obsession and Backrooms for $10.
Snacks are also usually more affordable too, I got popcorn and candy for less than $10.
Most Drive-ins are pet friendly! I love to take my dog with me. My local even keeps treats in the ticket booth for any animals joining the audience.
So much more comfortable in my opinion. I like to cover my car in pillows and blankets and snuggle up with my pup, but when I was little my dad and I would make our fort in the bed of his truck. You can also bring chairs and sit outside and watch. Also if you want to go see a new movie by yourself but feel awkward walking into the cinema alone, I’m telling you, the drive-in with your pet is the best.
My car battery died in the middle of the second movie and I missed a good chunk of it. I always take my own power pack jump starter kit just in case, but most drive-ins are prepared for this and keep their own kits on hand, so if this happens to you, just find an employee and ask for help!
Most don’t allow outdoor food, but that said it isn’t very hard to sneak snacks in.
But with that said, drive-ins are typically a lot less expensive than traditional theaters and many are only open on the weekends, so the majority of their profits do come from concessions. So personally, I usually bring a few water bottles and maybe a soda and then get my popcorn from concessions.
